iPod Touch or iPhone... $399 vs. $199 and stuck in a contract for 2 years with a crappy service provider whos 3G signal doesn't reach anywhere... hmmm.

I went with the iPod Touch.  I'm not actually buying it for the music.  I'm buying it because it has internet on WiFi... without having to lug around a laptop everywhere, or relying on my crappy Moto Q9 PDA.  AND because it now has the ability to interface with Microsoft Exchange, which means I can get my email anywhere I go.

I figure, I never use my phone (of my 450 minutes a month, i normally use about 30 of them), and I get most of my music on my HD Radio or online, so I don't have a huge MP3 collection to move over. 

Oh, the tech people tell me there will be an app within the next couple months to listen to FLZ on your iPhone. (already can on your Windows Mobile Phone- go to http://tuned.mobi on your phone!

 So we'll see.  It should be here Friday-ish.

Alright, without mentioning the name of the restaurant, I went to a chain chinese fastfood restaurant for dinner tonight.

Anyway, I order their one-entree "bowl" of food with the noodles... first they don't have the Kung Pao Shrimp ready to go, so they have to make it... my noodles, that they already put in a bowl, start getting cold.

Finally, that's ready to go, and I ask for an eggroll... well, the person right in front of me in line took the last egg roll... well crap... they have to put more down in the fat fryer... another five minutes..

By this time, the food's cold, and they proceed to ring me up... Wouldn't you think they might cut me some kind of break since I've been waiting forever for my food (keep in mind, most people who go into this restaurant get served right away, since the whole philosophy of this restaurant is that everything's ready to go)...  No... full price, and they even charged me a dollar extra for the shrimp.

I think I need to find a new chinese restaurant... Anyone have suggestions?

So gas prices are getting close to $4 a gallon for regular... It's been said in the news that within the next couple years, they could hit $7-$10 a gallon.  I've been thinking, there's got to be some more efficient way to get around than pump all that gas into my car.

I've seen a lot of TV news reports about motor scooters recently... I actually went out yesterday and looked at a few different types.  I think they'd be a lot of fun, I'm just worried about how well they would fit on the roads with all the crazy drivers we have around town.

Last think I want to have happen is I'm driving down Dale Mabry and some nut job is doing the whole "multitask" thing... you know, the people who have a cheeseburger in one hand, a smoke in the other, their cell phone up against their shoulder, and are driving with their knee...  And there's little me riding on a 2-wheel vehicle.. smack!

I'm curous if anyone else has a scooter in the area, and if so, how your experiences have been?
