I must say, this weekend is exactly what I needed!
Friday, I had a six hour shopping excursion with my friend Krystal. I managed to buy a new pair of jeans (down two sizes baby!), a hat, a ring, two bras, and two tops. Friday night I went to Big Shots in Clearwater with my friends. The best way to describe Big Shots is a bowling alley without the lanes. I told my friend Kris the place is like an adult day care. Saturday morning I cleaned the whole house! I even vaccumed in between the couch cusions, and found a dime. Saturday night I had dinner at Grillsmith with Krystal, Kris and Nick. That place is DELICIOUS! We were stuffed, then went home and played Catch Phrase. Whoever lost the round had to take a sip of their drink. For them that was fun, for me it was torture because the last thing I want after eating a large meal is booze. We went to MacDinton's for like an hour and a half, and I was at home and in bed by 2:45AM.
Today, I almost died. I was walking my dog, Conan, and as I was about to step back into the house I looked down and saw a brown reclouse spider!!! Holy hell! I screamed like I was being murdered. I didn't know what to do and my dad came out and squished it. I've heard horror stories about those spiders. Even the smallest spider scares me! I'd take a picture of it, but I can't even look at pics of the eight-legged devils. Gross.
Today was also hard one to get through. Brett Favre made his official regular season debut as a New York Jet. I couldn't watch much of it. I listened to the game, but every time I looked at the TV, I wanted to cry :( Packers play tomorrow!! I'm buying my Donald Driver jersey ASAP!

Last night after my extremely long history class, I got home just in time to see most of Rudy Giuliani's speech, and all of Sarah Palin's speech at the Republican National Convention. I thought Palin did a pretty good job, even though her timing was off.
Her youngest daughter, Piper, was holding her brother Trig, the four-month-old baby with Down syndrome. I was having a panic attack! I was scared she was going to 1) drop him and 2) she was sitting literally at the ledge of the second level in the arena! All I could think was, "DO NOT DROP THE BABY!" One time when my mom was babysitting my oldest niece when we lived in Wisconsin that sort of happened to me. I was in the living room with Brianne and she was crawling around on the couch. She was maybe 7-months-old? And I looked away for a second (I was 12-years-old and Saved by the Bell was probably on) and my niece fell off the couch! I don't think I ever told my sister that story. Fingers crossed that she doesn't read this.
That aside...Yahoo! has a great story about direct quotes made at the RNC. They took the quotes, fact-checked them and, well, looks like someone wasn't telling the truth! It's fair to both sides, too!
Does anyone watch Project Runway? It's one of the best shows on TV! Do you know how hard it is do prep for an entire Hollywood Dirt segment without seeing who got kicked off? I have to strategically plan my TV and usually the important stuff gets priority, and the stuff I watch for myself gets DVR'd (I'm not a fancy, so I don't do TiVo.) So far, so good!
Have a good day everyone, and I'm so happy the Jonas Brothers concert is tonight! That means I don't have to nearly lose my voice answering calls about their concert. You Jo-Bro fans are RUTHLESS. I was like that about 'N Sync when I was 14 though, so I can understand. When I say I was 14, I mean 19.

Today during the show, MJ asked Fester to read the phone numbers. Fester turned to his left (toward me) and began reading the numbers. I look over and Fester is wearing the SHORTEST shorts EVER. He's worn them before, but today I don't know what happened. Just let the picture I took speak for itself....
For some reason my BlackBerry was set to take pics in black and white. I'm not a guy, so I don't know how it is, but I assume what is going on with Fester's man parts can not be comfortable?!
We had Olympic silver medalist and MJ Morning Show listener Zach Railey in the studio today! He was super cool! I was surprised at how informed he was. During the breaks, we all talk about like news stories, and stuff like that and he held his own! Congrats on the dinghy medal, Zach. He got to meet Oprah AND Michael Phelps today. I'm jealous.
I hope everyone had a fun Labor Day weekend! Mine was pretty low key! I went out Friday and Saturday night. Friday I went to Banana Joe's and Double Decker (karaoke bar) and Saturday night I saw John Mayer! My mom's office fantasy football league needed one more player, so my mom signed me up. I have no idea what fantasy football is, so the draft on Sunday was quite interesting. I also saw the movie "Traitor" starring Don Cheadle. See it!! It's hard to explain how a movie about terrorism could be beautiful, but trust me when I say it is.

Today's horrible developments actually became a blessing in disguise. If you don't know what I mean, don't worry about it!
Four years ago if you would have told me I'd be a Democrat who has become a major Hillary Clinton fan, I would've tased you. However, I opened up my mind and decided to develop my own opinions. The thing I hate about politics is the demonizing of each other. Can't we all just get along?!
Watch this video! It's not long at all! It'll make you understand why I'd rather be a strong smarty, than a dumbed-down airhead.
Class until 9:45PM! Only an 18-hour day! Not bad! It's like a vacation!
