I was recently informed that, no longer will I be able to receive anything financially for my surgery.

   In a previous episode of my blog, you may recall the rant and plea for help on the matter of my surgery and the propsition of my biological father paying/matching for the "Stars" earned on my page. He stood his ground and honored his word, but it's capped due to an unfortunate circumstances.

   How did this come about?, the fortunate thing that is certainly my life. I hate to go on and complain, draw away pepole but it is my luck. You know the saying and it applies. As of Monday  (21.07.08) our only available vehicle and mode of tranportation went 'ka-put,' that's right the biggest thing went bye-bye. How's this for luck, the transmission needs replacement taking from the rest of my funds and savings. The total cost for the surgery is almost 1,200, the cost for a new tranmission and installation, we are looking at almost 2k+.

   Well, there's one thing I can say, still having a half a year on the list for the surgery I have time to save as much as I can, you know what helps, not going out, eating expensive meals, I don't spend on hobbies and no partner. Those are a handful of things which means I can convert what I don't spend to savings. Oh well guess I can wait till 'Dark Knight' is bargain binned or rent one day. Biggest thing to give up *tears fall like the indian witnessing litter thrown from a passing motor vehicle*, the internet, yes that's right, I have to give up the last of my recreation and entertainment for the cause.

So in closing, thanks to all my friends miss me and wish me BETTER luck. I will return when I can for now I'll be absent for a few months most likely. I will miss all of my Piggies. Please comment.

Diabetes, oh what a joy. If you ever wanted to make a difference, now's your chance to do something that could change one person. Let's begin, personally I have clear reason to believe the government is out to help those that are satisfied with a check and be done away with. After all a mother with seven children no father or boyfriend simply wants help but not in the seanse they keep needing to be attended to. I speak of those who are in medical need, myself being a Diabetic and Dx'd for now almost ten years. Let me pain the picture for those still reading and give a hoot-dala-walaa.

   I graduated, Bloomingdale '00. Around my Senior year I was diagnosed, Diabetic Type I/A, insulin dependant-along with ealier complications of my not growing and fully developing (puberty). I took shots and went for monthly medical visits to St Pete. All Children's Hospital for five years-I was thirteen when they found I was too small and not developing at all. From this I was in pains I suffered at school and primarily did better being more focused and trying to keep my mind off the pains, seeing as I couldn't walk after those mothly injections called Depot Lupron if I recall correctly.

   I'll get right into the thick right now and the situation, I am fighting Hillsborough and the State of Florida to have more rights and be looked at as a priority over those who 'really' arn't as important in the queue. Not that I am forcing them to actively say who is or who-isn't, but I think the druggies and homeless because they refused to work or pump out children like a Fisher Price Play-Do Factory, really did have a choice.

   Here's the short version and what this message means to me and how one person can help.
I'll stop beating around the bush and say what it is I wanted but for those curious at what snowballed into a problem I now face here's how it came to be.
At thirteen I was told by doctors I was too small for my age and had not started growth, my sisters were taller and more developed-fifteen up to seventeen or so I had been taking injections monthly it slowly escalated to daily but I got used to it. By Eighteen I was diagnosed from illness non-controlling to my own, somewhere it ran in the family and skipped a few generations, I had gotten a really bad stomach flu and cold while working, needless to say I had a lacking social life. Last year in High School I even missed my Drivers Education class because I had strange abdominal pains and was rushed to the hospital. More on the pains later but I took insulin, had been producing little to none. It was pretty much 'Game Over' for the pancreas, about three years down the line I find out I had a twist in the stomach, here's the major pain part, it was said by many nothing was wrong till finally I could hold nothing down, I wanted to literally die. A friend's girlfriend took me to the hospital and I was explored on, they had to search out the problem through surgery. six or so hours later I was told it was a twist in the bowels, I had six feet of the small intestine removed, I'm only 5' 7" so it's concidered a lot. also had my appendix while they were at it, what do you know they had a special going.

   Since then I had lost my last full time job, (no longer able to Run, Jump or even crouch) before the surgery because of the pains being so constant, not to mention I can't digest and retain anything for more than 20 minutes time. Being lactose intolerant doesn't help when your told to drink it for growth aid plus it's sweet and I was diabetic for god knows how long, anyway..no job and I was healing/resting from the proceedure, mother didn't like the fact I was a mooching-lump, who can blame her but I had made ends meet by selling my property. Sooner or later the well ran dry, of course I was given the boot, I was now homeless (friends were either with parents still or married). For almost 2-3 years I was diabetic and in need of medications not to mention a home, my stomach pains came back from movement and lack of rest. I did what I could working in and out of temp services but hospitalized once more had another surgery done.

   I finally found a place with my biological father and he too can only do for me so much, I agreed to rent and net, but he has been helping with food and mediacal needs. I also do his taxes and file his paper work-secretary on-call. I came to finding myself being appealed for several times and denied for any beneficial help, I did manage to get some minor health insurance.

..And now to what you can do to help out in this matter, I was told I was so in need for insulin I had to have a Diabetic Pump put in, the cost is outstanding for what this is to live. Let me get this clear I'm not here to ask for donations or any PayPal -ish, simply put I told my Biological father that I have this Pig Pen site and he said, "Well if you have friends prove to me that they care about you." upon telling him I wanted this Pump put in. So I came up with this idea to have 'proof.' All anyone has to do if you care is to add "Prop Stars" mid-left below my avatar on my main page. If not, comment the love, otherwise leave something to let me know there is a soul in somewhere.

   The hook here is, my biological father will matcht he number of stars to dollars, so anything can help, I have a year to get up the money-then I'm off the list for possible surgeries. Also I have been trying to get a full time job but lost ability of my legs-I use a walker due to nueropathy. I was turned down by "Workforce Alliance" and Social Security, there is nothing to help a semi handicapped medically needy person to help them find work. I am willing to work unlike the pill-popping-bums who run after people for spare change, I'd kill to run again. In celebration,what are you going to be doing on FD?
Is Tampa even honoring the Father's Day, whatever happened to the traditional Free Breakfast at like McDonald's, is that still going on or is it now certain participating franchises?

I was thinking of taking my biological Father out to eat and seeing a flick any recomendations?

Clearly knowing me I'm open to anything..fast tor estaurnt food and sit down to buffet, I prefer buffet overal, I was thinking about Golden Corral or CiCi's Pizza.
